Perlane®, like Restylane® is a cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as Nasolabial Folds.
Perlane® is composed of non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in teh human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin.
Because Perlane® is composed of larger gel particles, it is intended for deeper injection than Restylane® to volumize skin for structural support and lift. Your physician can best determine which treatment is right for you.
Perlane® typically can last for between six and nine months, although individuals will have varied results.
Perlane® is approved for treating moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as teh lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds).
